Buttercups Isleworth

An Outstanding nursery with oodles of space for active children

Please note, this nursery is extremely popular so we recommend registering as soon as possible.

Welcome to Buttercups Isleworth. We are an Ofsted Outstanding nursery based in the heart of Isleworth. We are also part of the Buttercups group which has been providing care to children for nearly 40 years, 25 of which have been in Isleworth!

Our Nursery Head Teacher, Cat, has worked in childcare for 16 years. She started as a Nursery Teacher with Buttercups at Syon Park before gaining a promotion to Room Head, then Deputy Head. She has now joined our Leadership Team as Nursery Head Teacher at Buttercups Isleworth. Cat is committed to creating lasting relationships with children, parents and colleagues. Cat has studied up to a Level 5 in Childcare Management and is passionate about baby brain development.

Great Facilities

Buttercups Isleworth is a community nursery with a large bright room split between 2 age groups (Over 2s and Preschool), perfect for the more active and adventurous child. There is plenty of room to move about and lots to explore and discover. We have designated Montessori areas in both age groups and also introduce Montessori activities to our under 2s. The Under 2s area is an oasis of calm away from the busy fun-packed hall, with a cosy room filled with natural daylight.

Our large garden is packed with toys and sports equipment. And because we are a pack-away nursery, it is fresh and new each morning.

NEW - Forest School Sessions

We are delighted to announce that we are now offering our Pre-School children weekly Forest School sessions at our sister site in Syon Park. The sessions will run for 5 months every year and incorporate a range of Forest School activities designed to develop physical development, independence and appreciation for the natural world. Find out more about Forest School at Buttercups

Great Team

Our qualified, caring team members receive ongoing training, both on and off-site. This nurturing and development continues throughout their time with us, inspiring the level of care and education your child receives. All children are allocated a key-person when they start, someone who is committed to their well-being. We have a gentle settling-in process as we know that some children find it harder to adjust than others.

Child-centred Care

We have plenty of Early Years Foundation Stage activities to help prepare for their move up to big school. We incorporate Montessori and HighScope practices which develop independent learning. At the end of their time with us, Buttercups children leave with confidence, curiosity and a zest for learning.

Safety and Well-being

All our staff have an enhanced DBS check and First Aid training. Healthy meals are cooked freshly everyday by our own cook (on a 4-week rotating menu) who can cater for any dietary requirements.
